Dr. Nikki Stark joined the team at Blue Springs Animal Hospital after graduating from Kansas State University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. (Go K-State!!)
Dr. Stark practiced clinical veterinary medicine for 12 years at Blue Springs Animal Hospital & Pet Resort. After battling a shoulder injury for several years, she turned in her scalpel and stethoscope in early 2006.
As Hospital Administrator, Dr. Stark now makes sure that patients of Blue Springs Animal Hospital & Pet Resort receive the highest quality care possible by helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
Dr. Stark met her husband, Tim, in college where they both played in the KSU Marching Band for football games. They were married in 1990 and have two "kids" - Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named "Sienna" and "Rusty."
In her spare time Dr. Stark enjoys K-State Football, reading, movies, spending time with friends, and participating in activities at Blue Springs Christian Church.
"I am thrilled that I was able to continue in a productive role at Blue Springs Animal Hospital & Pet Resort after retiring from practice. I really enjoy the different and varied challenges of managing such a progressive and busy practice. I feel that I am still able to contribute to making sure pets get the best care possible, and I am privileged to work with such a caring, smart, dedicated group of people."
